Hygienic Ceiling Systems

LSP Healthcare Ceiling Systems are specifically designed for clean-ability. The typical acoustic ceiling used in standard patient rooms, cafeterias and hallways is a haven for infectious pathogen growth. The same physical characteristics that provide acoustic features also makes these systems impossible to properly clean and disinfect. LSP offers both suspended ceiling systems and “hard lid” systems to meet the strictest requirements for both infection control and containment. Our ceiling systems are intended for critical healthcare spaces such as surgical suites/operating rooms, isolation rooms, sterile processing areas, imaging rooms and containment suites.

LSP offers sanitary grids and composite panels for suspended ceiling applications. The panels are impervious to moisture and the finish offers the highest levels of chemical resistance. Our PolyCore and PolyCore2 composite ceiling tiles are cost effective, rigid and can be “locked” in to withstand wiping and even pressure washing.

Virtually seamless “hard lid” ceilings provide the ultimate finish in the fight against infectious diseases. The Bio/CR-6 and Bio/CR-7 mount directly over gypsum. The Bio/CR-2 and Bio/CR-4 can be installed over either a solid surface or mount directly to ceiling joists. All LSP “hard lid” composites are edge sealed with a solid curing proprietary urethane. The final result is a virtually seamless, rigid, highly chemical resistant and cleanable ceiling finish to complete the critical area envelope.
