GridLock Suspended Ceilings

ceiling_suspended_SMALL

GridLock™ Ceiling Suspension system is an aggregate of components made of polymer and/or fiberglass composite that form a rigid suspension grid system. The system is composed of main runners and cross members (2 and 4 feet long) in an inverted (T) tee configuration that are secured in place at their intersection with a series of locking clips. The locking intersections are generally centered at 2' x 2' or 2' x 4' but can be customized to accommodate occasional odd sizes. The grid can be fitted with a gasket to allow for a seal to appropriate panels allowing the panels to be locked in place from below. This feature allows for easy access to the interstitial space. The GridLock™ installation is ideal for use in facilities where cleaning and disinfecting are critical. The surfaces are dense, stain resistant, chemical resistant and impervious to water. The system will not rust or deteriorate from continued exposure to water and chemicals. It will not service BSL-3 or BSL-4 requirements.

GridLock™ Suspended Ceiling System is used in food service, animal holding rooms, cage wash and wet areas, utility corridors, and manufacturing areas.

Fire Rating: Class 1 ASTM E 84 (actual test flame spread of 5 and smoke developed of 65)

GridLock™ ceilings can withstand daily surface washing, wet wiping, dusting and vacuuming. When used in conjunction with GridLock™ Gasket and lock down systems it can withstand high-pressure washing. The resin finish will not support the growth of bacteria or mold.

ceiling_toggleThe GridLock™ Suspended System is offered in two configurations; Selected Access (SA) and Drop In (DI). Each of these configurations is offered in either 2' x 2' or 2' x 4'. For the DI configuration panels are simply dropped into the grid space provided. GridLock™ Suspended Ceilings can be constructed to allow selected panels to be easily removed from beneath the ceiling using a simple toggle clip. This provides easy access to interstitial spaces above the ceiling while remaining panels stay locked in place. The gasketed seal of the SA system greatly enhances air balancing.

ceiling_gridFiberglass Suspension System
Will not rust or oxidize when exposed to moisture or chemicals, demonstrating superior performance in abusive environments. Sections will not bend or collapse during installation. The system is fire rated and load tested balancing efficiency and allows for direct pressure washing of the ceiling without dislodging tiles. Ideal for cage wash and procedure rooms.

Panel Options
Premium tile cores are moisture insensitive and are available as an Ultra Clean III panel or Polymer Panel. Tiles do not require painting, eliminating paint flaking and re-coating issues. Tile surfaces are highly chemical resistant, with excellent protection against virtually any decontamination protocol including VHP and Chloridine Dioxide.

Tiles are: Lightweight, Fire Retardant, Chemical Resistant and Durable with a bright Surface

GridLock™ FiberGlass Ceiling Suspension Grid
GridLock Suspension grid Aggregate of components made of polymer and/or fiberglass pultrusion that form a rigid suspension grid system. The system is composed of main runners and cross members (2 and 4 feet long) in an inverted (T) tee configuration that are secured in place at their intersection with a series of locking clips.
Ultra Clean III Panel
Poly core laminated to powder coated aluminum front and back that forms a durable composite panel. The exposed face is poly coated aluminum. The surface finish is smooth and glossy. It is ASTM E 84 Fire Rated.
Polymer Core Panel
Panel interior is a polyester/polymer composite and will not absorb water. The exterior is saturated fiber encased in polyester resin and final coated with polyester gel coat mounted to the polyester/polymer composite on both the front and back. The final surface is dense, stain resistant, chemical resistant and impervious to water. The panel is non-generating for particulate matter and as such is ideal for the clean room environment.
Polymer Core 2 Panel
PDS
The "Polycore 2" panel interior is a composite of aluminum and polymer that is impervious to air and liquids. The panel is finished with a polyester gel coat top and bottom. The panel is non-generating for particulate matter and as such is ideal for the clean room environment. Polycore 2 is an economical alternative for the Polymer Core Panel listed above.
